Arsene Wenger has given Arsenal club legend, Thierry Henry the boots from the club following his refusal to give up his Sky Sports punditry post.
Thierry Henry was appointed into Arsenal academy’s coaching crew, after getting his UEFA A Licence coaching badge.
Wenger it is understood had ordered the club great to quit his role as a pundit for Sky Sports or lose his appointment. Reports monitored in the English media, suggests the Arsenal manager believes the former striker is not permitted to work with the club and go on TV at weekends to criticize Arsenal players.
Henry the north London club’s highest goals-scorer, was reported not to be happy with Wenger’s directive and is leaving Arsenal to continue his coaching needs at another club.

Thierry Henry is thought to earn £4million per year at Sky for his pundit role and had agreed to work for free when Andries Jonker, the academy head, offered him an assistant manager role with the Under 18s. The ex France international opting to divide up his anticipated salary among other academy coaches at Arsenal.
Henry, is presently working for his Pro License coaching badge.
