Ahead of the 2015/2016 English Premier League season, Sky Sports have launched an epic advertising campaign for the EPL.
The advert features Arsenal legend Thierry Henry who is a football analyst for Sky Sports. The 90-second advert takes us 13 special moments of the English Premier League with Frank Sinatra’s ‘That’s Life’ plays.
“They said, ‘Thierry…is this the best league?’ I said, ‘Let me get back to you,” Henry says before appearing in all 13 special scenes of the EPL.
The former Arsenal striker appears in the famous scene over 22 years ago when Steve Bruce‘s 96th minute winner over Sheffield Wednesday had Brian Kidd and Alex Ferguson celebrating widely on the sidelines.
With the help of cutting edge special effects, Thierry Henry also appears in Kevin Keegan‘s reaction after a Stan Collymore‘s dramatic stoppage-time winner for Liverpool over Newcastle in April 1996, the dazzling long range strikes by Tony Yeboah, Eric Cantona and Alan Shearer, Steven Gerrard‘s kiss on a camera after a winner against Manchester United in 2009.
Henry was also there to witness Wayne Rooney’s famous acrobatic winner in the 2011 Manchester Derby and the title-winning goal by Sergio Aguero in 2012.
The video finishes with Henry in the stands as Chelsea lifted the Premier League trophy at Stamford Bridge in 2015.
