The chairperson of Nasarawa Amazons Hajiya Husaina Suleiman Nagogo has charged the Lafia ladies to consolidate on the away win over Abia Angels, by ensuring that they defeat visiting Adamawa Queens on Wednesday.
Nagogo welcoming back the players of Nasarawa Amazons after the Sallah break, urged the team to take the maximum points at stake and comfirm the team’s Super Six spot in a grand style.
“Let’s win the Wednesday match against Adamawa Queens in grand style as we always do. Though it is going to be a tough match, you girls should enjoy yourself as you win the match”.
The chairperson advised those who would not make the line-up for the match day not to feel neglected but support the team to earn the needed victory.
“We are all one and have the same goal which is to qualify for the super six. But we need to win and ascertain Nasarawa Amazons deserve to be where we are by God’s help”.
On behalf of players team captain Mathais Josephine expressed the gratitude of the players for the Sallah gift. Assuring Hajiya Nagogo that the Amazons would do all within their power to win the NWFL fixture in style at the Lafia Stadium.
