Wikki Tourists fc defence Marshal Ishaq Muri Dagbo has revealed that his ambition is to play in the Continental stage with his new found team Wikki Tourists fc.
Dagbo who joined Wikki Tourists from Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS) FC Ilorin at the beginning of the current Season #npfl21/22 has been very consistent and remain a formidable pillar in Wikki Tourists line ups.
The agile central defender has also earned the confidence of not only the technical team,but also his team mates courtesy of his contribution and business mindedness whenever he featured in a game.
Muri in a chat with club’s Media said he is happy playing for Wikki Tourists adding that the team is blessed with good players, a fine coaching crew and management believing therefore that they can do well at the end of the Season and hopefully secure a Continental ticket saying if they are not able to do it this season definitely next.
This is Nigerian League where a point can make a difference for you and our next match against Nasarawa United will be the beginning because we are preparing very well for that match,he emphasised.
Our position on the table is not bad compared to same time last Season and with more determination and prayers I believe we will get there,said Muri.
Reacting to Wikki Tourists playing it’s home matches away from home Dagbo said it has not been easy and pleaded with the authorities concern to allow Wikki back to it home ground.
It’s very difficult playing our home games elsewhere for somany reasons,and I’m using this medium to remind our fans on the need to conduct themselves in an orderly manner when eventually we are allowed back home,Muri reiterates.
Wikki Tourists fc is currently 10th position on the log and is hoping for an away victory at Nasarawa United over the weekend on Match day 29.
