The National Division 1 League players had a fruitful discussion and deliberation with Three times World Volleyball Champion, Gilberto “Giba” Amauri de Godoy Filho on Thursday.
‘Giba’ won Olympic gold at the Athens 2004 Games and silvers at Beijing 2008 and London 2012, and is secretary of the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) Athletes’ Commission.
He advised players to shun the use of drugs on and off the court.
Giba told the players to be respectful adding that he never had an argument with his teammates during his playing days.
