Technical adviser of Confluence Queens of Lokoja has urged his players to go all out for victory when they return to action in the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) on January 4th, 2023, against Nasarawa Amazons at the Aper Aku Stadium, Makurdi, Benue State.
Speaking to the players after their workout on Monday, Ogbonda Whyte says: “The match against Nasarawa Amazons is a New beginning for us, we have been working hard, the Christmas break has given us enough space to correct mistakes that we have made”. Whyte admitted
In the same line, Team Manager of Confluence Queens, Mrs Tosin Ojo charged the players of the Club to be more dedicated and proactive, and put in all their best to grab a win against our close rivals.
“I must let you know, we are not going there to settle for a draw, after we held Abia Angels to a drew last two weeks”.
The Lokoja Landladies will confront the Nasarawa based side in a NWFL MatchDay 5 encounter at the Aper Aku Stadium, Makurdi.
