The 2023/24 NWFL Season Opener To Be Broadcast Live

The NWFL (Nigeria Women Football League) has announced that for the very first time the league opening fixture would be broadcast live to followers of women football since inception.

The managers of the NWFL reveal that:”In a groundbreaking development for women’s football enthusiasts, the eagerly awaited NWFL 2023–24 premiership season opener clash between Ekiti Queens FC and Delta Queens FC is set to make history. As the first-ever NWFL Season Opening match to be broadcast live since the league’s inception in 1990.

Adding that all the action of the opener can be seen on AfroSportTV, the official broadcasting partner for the NWFL 2023–24 season.

The broadcast it is stated will extend its reach through a network of distribution partners, ensuring fans across Nigeria can witness the historic event. The following channels will carry the live coverage:
NTA Sport, Wazobia TV, Quest TV, Superscreen TV, Broadcasting Corporation of Abia (BCA TV).

Others include:Wasannin TCTV, Yobe TV, Delta Broadcasting Service, KSMC Kaduna, Ogun State TV, KWARA TV, KEBBI TV, Osun Broadcasting Corporation, Akwa Ibom Broadcasting Corporation, Katsina TV, Borno TV, Cross River Broadcasting Corporation and Silverbird TV.

The new NWFL 2023/24 season opener between Ekiti Queens and Delta Queens kicks off 4pm, on the 14th (Tuesday) November, 2023, at the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State.
