Super Eagles defender, Olisa Ndah has congratulated the team for their hard fought win over South Africa to secure passage to the African Cup of Nations, AFCON final.
The game which ended 1-1 after extra time was won by Nigeria 4-2 on penalties.
According to the Orlando Pirates defender, the team has indeed shown great spirit, character and determination towards achieving a fourth title.
“This is indeed a good time for Nigeria football, so far so good, my teammates have shown great spirit, determination and courage.
The way they played against South Africa has shown once again the team is destined for the top. Go bring the trophy home guys.”
Ndah who’s a regular with Pirates this season was part of the 2021 AFCON squad that finished at the round of 16.
He was instrumental as Orlando Pirates defeated Mamelodi Sundowns to win the MTN8 Final.
Nigeria play host nation Cote d’ Ivoire in the final on Sunday at the Alassane Ouattara Stadium, Ebimpe.
