More individuals and groups have continued to pay congratulatory visit to newly appointed Permanent Secretary of the Nasarawa State Ministry of Youth and Sports Development, Chief Barr. Isaac Danladi.
Among the latest visitors was the immediate past Senior Special Assistant, SSA, to Governor Abdullahi Sule on Youth Affairs Rt. Hon. Shuaibu Sani, accompanied by the State Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN, Comr. Ja’afar Loko.
Congratulating the new Permanent Secretary, Sani said the decision to post Danladi to the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development was appreciable and for the best interest of youth and sports development in the State.
He disclosed that Danladi had etched his name on the wall of history as long as youth and sports development is concerned in the State and beyond.
While thanking the Governor for taking the wise decision, the National Speaker of the Youth Assembly of Nigeria, YAN, pledged to pull youth across boards to lend unalloyed support to the success of the new Permanent Secretary and Governor Sule administration.

He pleaded with the Permanent Secretary to deploy his wealth of experience to create programmes that would help improve on the welfare and development of young people and sports in the State so as to be at par with their contemporaries around the world.
In his response, the Permanent Secretary, Chief Barr. Isaac Danladi, appreciated the team for the visit, and assured of working assiduously with the youth to meet their challenges and set a template for others to emulate.
He stated that he would ensure that youth and youth groups with genuine interest for themselves and State are accorded the desired attention.
The Permanent Secretary, however, disclosed that the Government would no longer be Father Christmas to any youth or group who presents project proposals without any value-addition but for their selfish gains, adding that the era of jamboree is over, as Government would jealously protect her resources and reserve them for worthy beneficiaries.
Danladi assured of improving on the existing relationship between the Government and youth of the State as plans are in the pipeline to strike youth and sports-related deals with development partners across the globe to better the lots of youth and sports in the State.

He urged youth to desist from acts capable of tarnishing their image and that of the State, calling on them to support the administration of Governor Sule to achieve the ‘Exceeding All Expectations’ mantra.
