Permanent Secretary, Nasarawa State Ministry of Youth and Sports Development, Chief Barr. Isaac Danladi, has congratulated the Ministry’s Head of Public Relations, Eche Amos, after he was honoured by the Chronicle Business School, Abuja, in partnership with Cornerstone University, Jerusalem, Israel, at the occasion of the Chronicle Business School’s 21st Inaugural Lecture Series held at the Bolingo Xperia Hotel, Garki, Abuja, on Saturday, 24th June, 2023.

“You are all aware that during the weekend, our prolific Public Relations Officer, Eche Amos, was honoured in Abuja for his sterling performance at the Ministry, Nasarawa State, Nigeria and humanity generally.

“I want to seize this opportunity to, on behalf of the entire Management members and Staff of the Ministry, congratulate you on these laudable feats.

“For anybody to have received these kind of awards symbolizes that he has put in his best, and has been able to discharge his duties creditably well in his chosen career.

“So, from the bottom of our hearts, we congratulate you, and pray for more oil to your joints to attain higher heights.

“May God continue to strengthen you, give you excellent health to be able to use these awards for the benefits of yourself, your family, your community, the State and humanity at large.”

Danladi, however, noted that the latest responsibility bestowed on the PRO called for more concerted efforts to be able to discharge the task accordingly.

He used the session to call on the awards’ recipient to use his vast experiences to mentor those around him and the younger generation as that is one of the qualities of all great people around the globe

“From what I saw in your letter of appointment, you are going to be a resource person in the Organization and this means mentoring people to become resourceful and successful in life.

“I am a practical example of a mentor. I mentored a lot of people at my previous Organization, and I can boldly tell you that they are doing well even in my absence.

“You are a young man full of great potentials and ability to discharge any task given to you, professionally. Already, I can see that you have some staff working under you here at the Ministry, which speaks well, but where you are unable to use your God-given talents to develop others, then your talents are of no use.

“I trust your capacity to deliver at all times. As a Ministry, we will always wish you well, pray for you and support you to put in your best to succeed.”

Speaking earlier, Eche Amos, said he had decided to show his achievements to the Permanent Secretary and Ministry first, knowing that it is his parent Organization.

He thanked the Permanent Secretary and Ministry for according him the needed support to discharge his duties efficiently and impact the society without hindrance.

“In all honesty, I didn’t have any special knowledge about the Institutions that deemed me qualified enough to bestow these honours on me, especially the Cornerstone University, Israel. But they said they have been tracking all my activities in the Media and other fronts, and that they are more than impressed with my passion, hard work, creativity and professionalism in carrying out my duties.

“Yes, not everyone enjoys this kind of privilege that I enjoy. The Ministry has been a great pillar of support to my vision in life.

“Virtually all my achievements in recent times have been made possible through the huge and undiluted supports from the Permanent Secretary, Ministry and Government of the day.

“Permanent Secretary, sir, ever since I started working with you, have mentored me to impact my world. I have won several national and international awards in sports and humanity, courtesy of your amazing support, and I am making professional and leadership advancements in my field by the way you coach me.

“No matter how intelligent, wealthy or powerful you are, you still need those who will guide, guard and support you on the path to success.

“It’s foolishness to think little of those who go out of their ways to support your dreams and visions.

“What you have done for me; what the Ministry has done for me, and what the Government and my State have done for me will remain indelible in my heart.

“The best way to reciprocate these gestures is to use my gifts to support those around me and set a foundation for future generations to build on.

“I will continue to support and promote the activities of the Government, the State and her people by projecting them in good light before the world to encourage investors and other development partners to come in.

“As for the new task handed to me by the Chronicle Business School and Cornerstone University, Jerusalem, Israel, though I am the youngest member in the Advisory Board, and youngest Head of the Sports Faculty of the Institution, I will discharge my duties efficiently and professionally to the level that will bring honour and glory to my State and nation at large.”
