Amos Gyan, Kano Pillars forward says he wants to see his contributions transform to success for the northern club and has vowed he would keep on improving in every game to accomplish his self-set aim of securing a slot for the club to campaign on the continent next season.
The player affirms his desire to the Kano Pillars finish in the top-three on the league table by the end of the season. Stating after he was announced the Man-of-the-Match in his clubs fixture against Sunshine Stars FC, Akure, Gyan says his utmost motive is to help the club achieve results.
Gyan says playing in the ancient city of Kano has given him the chance to express his ability more for the reason that there is competition for shirt among the players. Noting that the club ends the season at a comfortable and impressive position on the log is his uppermost thought at the moment.
“I am working hard to give my club my all and while I know it has not been easy, my focus is how best to achieve positive results any time I am dressed for a match.
“One thing is certain, I am happy playing for Pillars but will be happier if we could push for a continental ticket. I am not losing hope because if we can pick our next away win, we may just be there,” Gyan said.
“I know our fans are no longer coming to watch us in their numbers as it was at the outset of the season, my take is that they should just keep believing that we will come out better with them around us in the stands,” he added.
Amos Gyan is one of the players of Giwa FC that was expelled from the league who is now playing for Kano Pillars FC.
