Football stakeholders within and outside the shores of the country have applauded Nigeria National League (NNL) side Ekiti United over the released of their new jerseys for 2022/23 league season.
The Owu jerseys were unveiled by the State Governor, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji who was represented by the Commissioner for Finance and Economic Development, Hon. Akintunde Oyebode in a grand breaking ceremony at the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium, Ado-Ekiti last week.
In terms of materials and technology, the Ekiti United 20/23 home and away kits are identical of course with a little changes from last season.
The kit embraces a classic design with modern touches, in which the traditional yellow and black (home kit) is combined with grey details in between the black stripes at front bottom.
The short and sock is yellow, completely rounding off the look.
The away kit have a striking combination of red and white, with the short and sock in red.
Ekiti United wore the new jersey for the first time in a friendly match against Osun United which ended in a goalless draw last Wednesday at the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium.
