The 2025 WTT Contender Lagos has officially unveiled its star-studded lineup, set to take place from July 22 to 26 in Nigeria’s bustling commercial capital. This year’s edition promises to showcase elite talent from across the globe, with top players vying for a share of the increased $100,000 prize pool.
Hina Hayata (Japan):Ranked world No. 9 and a strong favorite for the title, Hayata is known for her powerful left-handed play and multiple podium finishes at the World and Asian Championships. The 24-year-old Olympic silver and bronze medalist will make her debut in Lagos, looking to challenge China’s dominance in women’s table tennis.
Hana Goda (Egypt): The reigning African champion will aim to make her mark against the world’s best players.
Prithika Pavade (France):
