Team Delta are in the finals of the Handball event of the 21st National Sports Festival 2022 after overcoming their opponents in the semi final on Tuesday.
Delta State will play Kano State in the final of the male category after defeating Lagos 30-27 in the semi final while Kano defeated Niger State 28-27 to earn the right for the final with the host.
In the women category, Delta comfortably defeated Imo State 28-23. They will play Oyo in the final who defeated Plateau 31-29.
