…Over Death Of Members Of Supporters’ Club

The Management and players of Sunshine Queens Football of Akure have commiserated with Bayelsa Queens over the fatal accident involving some members of their supporters club.

The Team Manager of the Betty Babes, Kenny Smith odogun in a condolence message prayed God to give the family and the management of Bayelsa Queens the strength to bear the irreparable loss.

Odogun while also praying for the quick recovery for those that were injured, described the incident as sad, shocking and unfortunate.

He prayed that the entire football fraternity in the country shall never witness, experience such sad occurrence again.

He urged the entire people of Bayelsa State to take solace in the fact that God giveth and taketh.

He said: “Who are we to question God? He do whatever he likes, we can not question him, all we can do as human is to continue praying for mercy and compassion from heaven above.

Four members of Bayelsa Queens supporters’ club had reportedly died in a fatal accident while seven others who were in critical conditions have been rushed to a specialist hospital in Asaba.

The unfortunate incident occured on their way to the grand finale of the 2022/2023 NWFL Premiership Super Six championship between Delta Queens and Bayelsa Queens at the Stephen Keshi International Stadium in Asaba, Delta state.
