Nasarawa United FC also known as Solid Miners has announced the arrival of the club in Abuja for its pre-season tour in preparation for the upcoming Nigeria National League 2023/2024 season.
In a statement made available to the media signed by Eche Amos, Media Officer, Nasarawa United, states that the Club safely got the Federal Capital Territory yesterday(Wednesday):
“We are pleased to announce to our fans and public that we arrived Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, safely on Wednesday, 2023, for our Pre-Season tour ahead of the 2023/24 Nigeria National League, NNL, campaign.

During our stay in Abuja, the Club will play some high-profile and exciting friendly matches against some of the most challenging teams, and in no chronological order, beginning with category C, to B and then A”.
According to the statement the choice of Abuja by the Club is because of its shared, unique features and benefits which align with our goals, especially in areas of passion for football and proximity to our fan base.
The 2023/24 NNL campaign kicks-off on Saturday, 28th October, 2023, and Nasarawa United’s first match is at home against visiting Jedo FC at the Lafia City Stadium.
“We will keep our fans and public updated with our Pre-Season activities”, the statement concluded.
