The Segun Odegbami International College and Sports Academy (SOCA) is set to transform its girls’ sports programmes with the introduction of an ultra-modern girls’ dormitory on campus.
This development will enable girls to participate in the full 4-hour daily sports programme, which was previously challenging due to commuting constraints.
The new dormitory will be ready for the new session starting September 14, 2025, allowing girls to live on campus and fully participate in sports and academic programmes.
A Cameroonian/American coach, former assistant to late Lee Evans, will lead the athletics academy.
New coaches, facilities, programmes, and equipment will boost the girls’ tennis and football programs.
SOCA aims to produce female national team players for Nigeria in football, track, and tennis within three years.
SOCA has a few vacant places in JS1 to SS2 for talented girls in sports who are passionate about combining sports with academics.
Interested girls can contact Denis Owumi, Administrator of SOCA on 08034901541 for inquiries.
