Safety Babes, Peacocks Thrill Fans On Day 3 of Prudent Energy Handball Premier League

    Safety Babes and Plateau Peacocks gave an intense and interesting finale to the MatchDay 3 of the Prudent Energy Handball Premier League 2021 in Abuja.

    In a battle of the former champions of the league, Safety Babes had to switch formation twice to defeat a determined Plateau Peacocks 22-21 in what turned out to be an intriguing match which gave a befitting end to the day’s activities in the Women Category.

    Earlier on, table toppers, Imo Grasshoppers defeated Defender Babes 24-19 while Bayelsa Queens got their first win of the league after they defeated Confluence Queens 26-14.

    In the Men Category, former champion Kano Pillars comfortably defeated Kada Stars 26-15 while Confluence Stars defeated former champion Niger United 28-25.

    Defending Champion Safety Shooters continued their winning streak as they defeated Police Machine 31-18 and they lead the Men Category log.

    Bayelsa Queens — Confluence Queens 26–14.

    Kada Stars — Kano Pillars 15–26.
    Confluence Stars — Niger United 28–25.
    COAS Shooters — Tojemarine Academy 00–10 (W/O).
    Safety Shooters – Police Machine 31-18
