The Ogun State Police Command has declared Habeeb Okikiola Olalomi, popularly known as “Portable”, wanted for his alleged involvement in a violent attack on government officials.
The incident occurred on February 5, 2025, when officials from the Ogun State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development were conducting an enforcement exercise at Oke-Osa, Tigbo Ilu Ota.
According to the police, Portable’s father was encountered at Odogwu Bar, and upon requesting the approved building plan, he claimed his son was unavailable. However, moments later, Portable allegedly led a gang of nine thugs in a violent attack on the unarmed officials, leaving them with various bodily injuries.
Nine accomplices were arrested, but Portable fled the scene and has since gone into hiding. Despite multiple formal invitations to appear at the Ogun State Police Command Headquarters, Portable ignored the requests, prompting the police to obtain a valid court order declaring him wanted.
The police are urging members of the public to provide any valuable information that can lead to Portable’s immediate arrest. Anyone found aiding or harbouring the suspect will face legal consequences.
