Brad Takairangi has signed a new contract with Parramatta Eels until the end of the 2019 NRL season.
Takairangi has been a big hit with the Eels since arriving from Gold Coast Titans last year and the 27-year-old has opted to remain at the club for at least another three years.
Head coach Brad Arthur said: “I am pleased that Brad has re-signed with the Eels until the end of the 2019 season.
“Brad is a leader and key member of our squad and he has been one of our most consistent performers since joining us in 2015.
“It was a priority for us to secure Brad for the next few seasons and it is pleasing to see he has committed to the club for the long term.”
Takairangi’s team-mates Nathan Brown and George Jennings also signed new contracts last week.
