The National Leadership of Youth Assembly of Nigeria, YAN, wishes to urge Nigerian citizens to remain calm and support the Government’s efforts to address the current economic challenges.
According to a statement signed by Rt Hon Shuaibu Sani, National Speaker, YAN: “We understand the frustrations driving the protests, but we must work together to find lasting solutions”.
YAN says the assembly is appealing for:
i. The immediate suspension of all forms of demonstrations in order to avoid violence and destruction.
ii. Constructive dialogue and collaboration with the Government.
iii. Support for initiatives aimed at addressing economic hardships.
iv. Unity and collective action in finding solutions.
v. Innovative solutions and proactive engagement from all stakeholders.
Adding that YAN believes: “In Government’s commitment to addressing economic challenges. That collective effort and support can drive positive change. As dialogue and understanding can lead to sustainable solutions”.
Therefore, the group is calling on citizens, particularly youth, to remain calm and peaceful in their respective communities, while government continue to engage with stakeholders and exploring solutions”.
YAN concludes that all stakeholders should work together towards a common goal for a better and prosperous Nigeria.
“Together, we can overcome these challenges and build a better and prosperous future”.
