Nasarawa United in an official statement says the management and players of the club, condole with Ajibola Otegbeye over step-mother’s death.
The statement made available to the media and signed by Eche Amos, media officer of the football club reads:
“It is with heavy heart that we learned about the sudden passing of Mrs. Juliana Otegbeye, step-mother of one of our very dedicated players, Ajibola Otegbeye.
The 46-year-old who has since been buried, died during a brief illness on Sunday, 8th May, 2022, in Kano State, leaving behind her husband and two children.”
It further states that the club’s “thoughts and prayers are with Ajibola Otegbeye and the entire deceased’s family during this difficult period.
We pray that God Almighty will grant the deceased eternal repose in heaven”.
