The Permanent Secretary of Nasarawa State Ministry of Youth and Sport, Mallam Isah Mohammed Eyah, has joined other public office holders across the country to wish Christian faithfuls, happy Christmas celebration.
Mallam Iyah Eyah in a statement available to the media says: “May I join other well-wishers across Nasarawa State and beyond to heartily congratulate Christian faithful on the occasion of the Christmas festivity to remember the birth of Jesus Christ”.
He say no doubt this day holds a sacred religious significance among Christians.
“It is hoped that celebrants use the occasion to renew their relationship with their creator, lead a worthy lifestyle and be exemplary in all their dealings with fellow humans while upholding spiritual sanctification”.
The permanent secretary admonish christians to use the period to work for the welfare of all people, irrespective of their status, and pray for the growth and development of the society.
“Once again, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year in advance”.
