Ejigbo LCDA council Boss, Alhaji Monsurudeen Bello (Obe) has emphatically said he is open for dialogue with anyone who deems it necessary, and has in the same vein given a nod to the entire youths and security operatives for protecting lives and properties within the LCDA.

The LCDA boss acknowledges the current economic hardship and the fundamental right of the people to express their grievances in a constitutional manner; sharing his optimism that the current situation will turn around for better for all if handled in a civil manner, rather than allowing emotions to overrule and dictate our actions or inactions.

OBE further gave credence to the promises he has made and kept in the interest and yarnings of EJIGBO people – ranging from the construction of a model primary school to accommodate indigent pupils; construction of link roads such as Ifoshi road, dauda ilo road, Falana Road, Kashimawo Alimi street, Ajegunle Street (in view), Aiyelegun Road (in view), Iyana EJIGBO motor Park and market, Alaba motor Park Ile Iwe, CDC secretariat and the Primary Health Centers to mention a few.

The LCDA chairman alludes to the relentless efforts of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) in restoring our dear nation, NIGERIA with the RENEWED HOPE AGENDA.

“To mention a few, in less than 16 months in office for crying out loud, new Development Commissions are being established in the southeast and Northeast; Students loan entrenched into law; Presidential CNG approved; Minimum wage of seventy thousand (beyond 100 percent) has also been approved, and many more in the pipe lines”.

According to Alhaji Monsurudeen Bello the LCDA surveillance brief reveal that, Ageke Egbapeju CDA- a fraction of the entire community in Ejigbo, led by Its chairman has volunteered to rally the community youths for solidarity approach to the situation. “Feelers that has reached us indicates that same approach is being replicated in some of the areas in the LCDA while other areas are relatively calm and peaceful”.

By and large, its pertinent to note that the outcome of the stakeholders engagement presided over by the executive chairman of Ejigbo LCDA has being well thought out and fruitful .

OBE says: “In my surveillance venture, I was humbled listening to this young kid proudly reciting Nigeria’s national anthem:

Nigeria we hail thee,
Our own dear native land,
Though tribe and tongue may differ,
In brotherhood we stand,
Nigerians all, and proud to serve
Our sovereign Motherland

In the light of this impression, I strongly believe in the catch them young approach to inculcate into our children a future of commonality of purpose as a nation”.

The Ejigbo council boss expresses his hearth-felt condolences to the families of the police personnels who lost their lives trying to protect and resist protesters from the Red Lines in the line of duty during the protest.

Saying: “May the Almighty God repose their souls grant them eternal rest and Grant all whom they left behind the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss”.
