The Executive Chairman of Isolo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Olasoju Adebayo, has inspected the ongoing construction work on Karimu, Oloruntobi, and Amodu Faronbi Streets in Isolo, Lagos.
The inspection was carried out on Wednesday, June 26, 2025, and was attended by the council’s Supervisor for Works, Hon. Jamiu Omotayo, and other council staff.
Adebayo expressed satisfaction with the pace of the construction work and urged the contractor, Taikeb Nigeria Limited, to maintain the quality of work and complete the project on time. The chairman emphasized that the triple projects are part of his ongoing infrastructural renewal efforts across the council area, aimed at driving socio-economic development.
The Project Supervisor, Engr. Babatunde Bhamus, assured that the road will be completed as scheduled, provided the weather remains favorable and road users and residents cooperate. He appealed to business owners on the axis to exercise maximum cooperation during the construction period.
The secretary of Karimu Olushi CDA, Mr. Adeniyi Sesan Adebayo, expressed gratitude to the chairman for prioritizing the development of the three streets. He praised the chairman’s commitment to infrastructural development, noting that past administrations had failed to complete similar projects.
A commuter, Wale Animashaun, commended the chairman’s dedication to delivering on his promise of infrastructural development.
He confirmed that the road, when completed, will enhance socio-economic activities on the axis and serve as an alternative route to Isolo/Mushin road for road users.
