Lagos is gearing up to host the 2025 Festival of Table Tennis, a 20-day celebration of the sport that will bring together elite players from West Africa, across the continent, and around the world.
The festival, which will take place at the Molade Okoya-Thomas Hall at Teslim Balogun Stadium from July 16 to August 5, 2025, will feature a lineup of prestigious competitions that promise to be truly unforgettable.
Prestigious Competitions
The festival will feature four major competitions, including:
– ITTF Africa West Regional Championships (July 16-19): Regional champions in team and singles events will be crowned.
– WTT Contender Lagos (July 22-26): International stars will compete for $100,000 in prize money across five events.
– 2025 ITTF Africa Youth Championships (July 27-August 3): Africa’s top young talents will be determined in a 14-event tournament.
– ITTF Africa Youth Cup (August 4-5): Emerging players will showcase their skills and compete for continental glory.
