The management and players of Ekiti United Football Club has congratulated Alh. Ibrahim Musa Gusau on his election as the newly elected President of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF.
Ibrahim Gusau emerged President of the NFF at the federation elective congress at the Edo Heritage Hotel, Benin on Friday 30th September, 2022.
Gusau who is the Chairman of Zamfara State Football Association and before his election was Chairman of Chairmen under the Amaju Melvin Pinnick led Exco and was in April 2022 appointed as Youth Organizing Committee member by Africa’s governing body, CAF.
In a statement e-signed by Mr Adedeji Adu, the Team Manager of the club, the Chairman of the club, Mrs Funke Babalola described Gusau’s emergence as the new President of Nigeria Football Federation as a welcome development which will further improve football in Nigeria.
Mrs. Babalola while congratulating Gusau on behalf of the club said his vast experience in football administration will help in piloting the affairs of the Federation.
“We have no doubt on your credibility and vast knowledge of the round robin game, we are sure that football under your watch in the country will not only witness a drastic change but take the game to an enviable height.”
