At a press conference today in Lagos, the executive committee alongside the organising committee of Lagos SWAN, announced Bet9ja as the headline sponsor of Lagos SWAN Week 2021.
The brief ceremony which held at the Lagos SWAN secretariat inside the National Stadium Surulere, also unveiled Nigeria Breweries Plc, Nestle, Owu, LaLiga Nigeria, MultiChoice, Red bull and International Distillers Limited as partners.
The local organising committee (LOC) informed the media that 12 media houses registered for this year’s football event.
Complete Sports, Unilag Media and Community Media were seeded by the LOC. These teams were so seeded based on their history in the tournament.
The 12 teams have been drawn into three groups with the top two teams qualifying for the quarter finals. The best two losers from the groups making up the numbers.
The LOC revealed that 14 individuals would be participating in the Table Tennis event, while 7 persons are to participate in the Scrabble event.
There is going to also be a Veteran and Women novelty matches.
The Lagos SWAN Week is to commence on December 3rd and end on the 10th December, at a dinner and awards ceremony for members.
