…Lauds Organizers Of The Eminent Awards Ceremony
It’s exactly 8 days to go for this year’s edition of the distinguished Sportsville Special Recognition Award with cascades of praises flooding the inboxes of the Organizers of the Awards ceremony.
The prestigious ceremony which holds at the colourful halls of EKO CLUB on March 1st, 2024 was on lionized by seasoned veteran sports journalist, Tayo Balogun.
The widely travelled writer, joined the train of millions of notable Nigerians, including the celebrating the consistency and creativity behind the awards.
The USA based journalist, went further to applaud the Mr. Frank Ilaboya led organisation for it’s part in lionizing and honouring distinguished and prominent sportsmen and women who have made Nigeria great through sports.
“You guys are doing a great job, Frank Ilaboya. I follow all your activities with keen interest and I must say kudos for a job well done. Your consistency and tenaciousness are worthy of commendation, keep up the good job my brother,” one of Nigeria’s thorough bred journalists said.
The Sportsville Special Recognition Award was initiated four years ago as part of the activities to mark Sportsville’s 20th year anniversary on air.
Sportsville, one of the most sought after sports programs in Nigeria, has enjoyed unbroken broadcasting for over two decades, making it one of the longest running independent sports shows in the nation.
Since the maiden edition of the award ceremony in 2021, over 50 personalities and corporate organisations have been honoured.
