…Urges The Players To Be Professional In Their Conducts

Ahead of the forthcoming Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) 2022/2023 Season, Niger Tornadoes Chairman, Hon. Adamu Aliyu Mohammed has reiterated his commitment towards fullfiling players entitlements.

The Chairman made this known while addressng the players shortly after witnessing the team’s evening training at the Late Bako Kontagora Memorial Stadium Minna.

Adamu Aliyu said, as a one time footballer and a long standing football administrator of over a decade, he understands the terrain well enough to be concerned about players welfare, hence his resolve to ensure that players, both old and new, who are using their talents to provide service to the club shall have a cause to smile before the commencement of the season.

The Chairman acknowledged the good work of the Technical Crew, led by Abubakar Bala Mohammed – for always assembling tested players for the team and charged the players to put their heads down and learn from the technical know-how of Coach Bala whom incidentally is part of the National U23 Technical Crew.

He cautioned the players to focus on the development of their football career and avoid any form of distraction, adding that, footballers deserve monetary rewards for their effort.

Adamu Aliyu said a lot happened last season, including on and off the field challenges, especially in the area of finances which he said was not peculiar to Niger Tornadoes alone, but the management is working round the clock to seal all loopholes in order ensure a smooth take off to the new season.
