The Sapphire Nigeria Women Football Supporters Club (SNWFSC) President, Jadesola Adelabu has commended the Nigeria Women senior national football team for their statutorily great performance against Canada at the FIFA Women’s World Cup.
The Super Falcons played a barren draw with Canada to kick-start their 2023 World Cup campaign on good way.
A statement signed by Saheed Afolabi, Head Media SNWFSC, Jadesola Adelabu heaps praises on the Falcons for showing the world that they are a force to reckon with at the World stage.
Mrs Adelabu was delighted with the perseverance, resilience the Falcons displayed against Canada as she sent SNWFSC best wishes to the team in Australia.
“I want to commend the Super Falcons for their gigantic heroic performance against Canada. They showed the world that they are a force to reckon with in the World Cup.
“The Super Falcons showed resilience, perseverance and quality against the Canadians and we wish them all the best in subsequent matches in the World Cup.
“We expect the Falcons to be ruthless against the Australians and give Nigerians the much needed win, we have absolute believe that the Nigeria players will deliver and soar high to victory and success.”
Nigeria will play against co-host Australia on the 27 of July and round up the group stage with Republic of Ireland on the 31st of July.
