The management of Ekiti United FC has come out to debunk a news making the rounds that the club has suspended training as result of unpaid players salaries.

Emphasising that “There is no atom of truth to this news”.
The Team manager, Adedeji Adu while reacting to the online story said a two day time-out was given to the players to relax their legs after rigorous workout they went through in the last phase of the screening exercise.
“Let me say this emphatically that the storyline of suspending training till further notice is not true. Please, desists from such ill fated storyline especially unverified news about EuFc.
Work is on top gear at addressing the issue of the unpaid salaries as to put a better process in place for our financial administrations and better outlook on the long-run,” he maintained.
The statement reveal that the team will continue it’s training routine on today (Wednesday) at the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium, Ado Ekiti by 7a.m.
