The Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Chairman, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede, is set to launch a mega empowerment programme aimed at benefiting no fewer than 5,000 residents.

This initiative is part of his administration’s efforts to provide tools and skills necessary for residents to earn a living and become self-reliant.

Empowerment Programme Details
The programme, scheduled for May, will distribute various empowerment tools, including deep freezers, generators, tricycles, motorcycles, grinding machines, makeup boxes, POS machines, sewing machines, hair dryers, barbing tools, and gas cookers.

The chairman assured that his administration will ensure even distribution of the empowerment items among various groups, including Community Development Committees, artisans, youths, ethnic groups, and religious bodies.

Ameliorating Economic Challenges
Otunba Oloyede stated that the empowerment programme is designed to alleviate the economic challenges faced by residents and take the less privileged out of poverty. This initiative is part of his administration’s commitment to giving back to society and making it a better place for all.

The chairman’s administration has previously held skills acquisition programmes for youths and women, and in December, empowered beneficiaries with tools in various trades.

The upcoming mega empowerment programme is expected to further consolidate these efforts and make a meaningful impact on the lives of residents.
