The stage is now set for an electrifying pre-season football tournament as the 4th edition of the annual Gusau/Ahlan Pre-season Football Tournament gears up to kick off in Lafia,, Nasarawa State.

The participating teams include defending champions Lobi Stars FC of Makurdi, hosts Nasarawa United FC of Lafia, and other notable teams such as Niger Tornadoes FC (Minna), Kano Pillars FC (Kano), Abia Warriors (Umuahia), Plateau United FC (Jos), and Wikki Tourists FC (Bauchi). Other teams include Katsina United FC (Katsina), El-Kanemi Warriors FC (Maiduguri), Basira FC (Lafia), City Rollers FC (Nasarawa), Barau FC (Kano), Ben FC (Jos), Khalifat FC (Sokoto), Si14 FC (Keffi), Discovery FC (Abuja), Sunsure FC (Akwa-Ibom), and Mighty Jets International FC (Jos).

The tournament is set to kick off on Friday, August 1, 2025, and will run for two weeks at the Lafia City Stadium, Nasarawa State. The competition promises to be fierce, with teams vying for the top prize and recognition for outstanding performances.
