Safety Babes In Runaway Victory Over Bayelsa Queens

Defending women champion Safety Babes and Tojemarine, Monday, were the biggest winners of day 2 of the Ardova Handball Premier League 2023 phase 2 which is holding in Benin City, Edo State.
Safety Babes, who are three times champion of the Ardova Handball Premier League, were very comfortable as they easily earned a 47 -27 victory over Bayelsa Queens.
In other results in the women category, Defender Babes, who were runner up last season defeated 2018 champion Plateau Peacocks 31-26 while Bendel Dynamos, learning from their day 1 defardova-Handball eat, got a much needed 28-23 victory over neighbour’s Delta Queens.
Rima Queens continue to break grounds as they defeated Seasider Babes of Lagos 33-25 while Imo Grasshoppers not wanting to repeat the mistakes of their day 1 loss to Delta Force, ensured they get a 21-17 victory over Benue Queens.
In the men category, Tojemarine of Lagoa showed why they are a delight to watch as they comfortably defeated De Defenders 33-18 while another Lagos team, Seasider Boys defeated Confluence Stars 25-21.
Niger United, who were champion in 2018, cruised past Benue Buffaloes 29-20 while Police Machine earned a sweet 31 – 26 victory over Correctional Boys.
Defending champion Kano Pillars showed true champion stuff as they endured a torrid time to defeat a determined Bendel Dynamos spurred by home support 30-26 while Safety Shooters defeated Rima Strikers 24-20.
Meanwhile, Salihu Baba Ali of Safety Shooters and Blessing Patrick of Delta Queens were voted the MVP for day 2 of the Ardova Handball Premier League 2023 phase 1.
