The Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, has presented the 2026 Fiscal Appropriation Bill to the Nasarawa State House of Assembly.

In his speech, Governor Sule emphasized that the 2026 budget is a strategic consolidation of the administration’s achievements over the years, aimed at accelerating development and improving the quality of life of citizens.

The budget, themed “Budget of Strategic Consolidation,” is focused on consolidating ongoing infrastructure projects, expanding job creation, improving healthcare and education, and intensifying urban renewal efforts.

According to Governor Sule, the total proposed revenue for 2026 is N517.54 billion, with a total expenditure budget of N517.54 billion, comprising N212.79 billion for recurrent expenditure and N304.75 billion for capital expenditure.

The budget allocation prioritizes infrastructure development, education, healthcare, agriculture, and security, with allocations of N157.80 billion, N92.91 billion, N37.19 billion, N31.85 billion, and N16.09 billion, respectively.

Governor Sule emphasized the administration’s commitment to enhancing its capacity to serve the people of Nasarawa State, ensuring sustainable progress and benefits for future generations.

The Governor also highlighted the establishment of six strategic agencies to drive modernization, institutional strengthening, economic growth, public safety, and regulatory frameworks.
