Kadiri Ikhana, a legendary Nigerian footballer and recipient of the Member of the Order of the Niger (MON) national honor, is undergoing treatment at the Irrua Specialist Teaching Hospital in Auchi, Edo State.
According to Dr. Olusegun Odegbami, who spoke with Ikhana earlier today, the former football star is healing and receiving good treatment. Ikhana expressed his gratitude to Nigerians for their prayers and support.
Several prominent figures, including the Chairman of AirPeace, the Governor of Kwara State, the President of the Nigeria Football Federation, and the Comptroller-General of Customs, have offered support.
The Governor of Edo State has also sent representatives to visit Ikhana and offered to take responsibility for his treatment.
Dr. Odegbami has appealed to Nigerians to continue praying for Ikhana’s speedy recovery, citing the power of divine intervention in healing.
