Thrilled by the recognition, Danladi described the Certificate of Commendation and Medal of Honour as humbling and thought-provoking.

“I have been following the activities of this Organisation, and I must say you have been doing very well. I am so excited for this rare honour bestowed on me today.

“I have so many awards, but this is the most treasured award I have gotten in recent times. This is because it is coming from a group that I never knew has been watching everything I have been doing, and appreciating same.”

While dedicating the recognition to the Almighty God and Governor Abdullahi Sule who considered him fit to be appointed as Permanent Secretary in the State Civil Service, Danladi noted that the recognition was a challenge for him to do more for humanity and the society.

“I am not perfect, but with God on my side, I will continue to do my best for the sake of divinity and humanity.

“In all honesty, there is no better time to receive this award than now, especially that it is happening at a time of sober reflection in our beloved country.”

The Permanent Secretary appreciated Governor Abdullahi Sule for fostering a united and peaceful Nasarawa State even in the eye of daunting challenges.

He urged the citizens to give Governments at all levels the benefit of doubts in order to meet their demands, discouraging the resort to violence by the citizens to pressing home their demands, stressing that “tough times do not last but tough people do.”

Also in attendance at the brief occasion were Directors of the Ministry.
