Super Falcons’ captain Onome Ebi says the team is resolute in their desire to realise their quest for a 10th WAFCON title in Morocco.
Having won their last group match thrashing Burundi 4-0, the Falcons are now poised to face continental rivals Cameroon in the Knockout stage.
According to the Media Officer,O Tobex Tobe-Chukwu, the “team came from Rabat where we played our group stages match. We will be playing Cameroon in Casablanca which is a 45 minutes drive from mohammedia where we are lodged”.
Speaking ahead of the make or mar game captain Onome Ebi, believes the Super Falcons are stronger now and are focused on achieving their LaDecima dream.
“We have crossed the first stage of the competition, we keep going stronger and looking forward to more improved performance and aiming for our goals”.
The Super Falcons are expected to continue their training today in readiness for what promises to an exciting and pulsating game of football.
The venue for Quarter-Finals fixture is Stade Mohammed V, Casablanca, on 14th July, 2022 by 18:00 hours.
