Former Nasarawa United central defender, Victor Collins, has penned down a one-year contract with a Middle-East based football club, Amanat Baghdad Sport Club of Iraq.
The defender who was a major component in the heart of the Solid Miners’ defence and featured in series of team-of-the-week nomination at the recently-concluded 2021/22 Nigeria Professional Football League Season will hope to propel the ‘Lions of the Capital’ as his new Club is nicknamed to escape relegation in the Iraqi top-division league as the Capital City team are currently sitting on 18th position in the 20-team league.
Collins’ contract with the 65-year-old Club begins from 2022 and will expire in 2023, but subject to renewal.
