Nasarawa United Football Club has extended its deepest condolences to the family, friends, and the entire football fraternity over the passing of legendary coach Christian Chukwu.

Chukwu, who passed away on April 12, 2025, at the age of 74, leaves a void in the world of football. He is remembered for his contributions to the beautiful game, including guiding the Super Eagles of Nigeria to the semifinals of the 2004 Africa Cup of Nations.

Chukwu’s legacy also includes being part of the first Nigerian team to win the Africa Cup of Nations in 1980. His impact as a coach will continue to be felt in the history of Nigerian football.
