QATAR2022: Kenneth, Aribo Arrives Super Eagles Camp

Kenneth Omeruo and Joe Aribo join other Super Eagles invitees in camp ahead of the clash against the Black Stars of Ghana.

Omeruo who plays for Leganes arrived camp this morning some couple of hours after the arrival of theĀ  duo of Joe Aribo and Calvin Bassey of Rangers, Emmanuel Dennis of Watford and Innocent Bonke who plays for Lorient in the French ligue 1.

With the arrival of the quartet the number of players in camp now rises to 18 in readiness to execute the final qualifying games for Qatar2022 World Cup.

Early arrivals to the camp include; William Troost-Ekong, Leon Balogun, Semi Ajayi, Ola Aina, Frank Onyeka, Odion Ighalo, Daniel Akpeyi, Ahmed Musa, Oghenekaro Otebo, Kelechi Iheanacho, Shehu Abdullahi, Francis Uzoho, Moses Simon.

The spiritĀ  in the Super Eagles Camp is high and the players motivated to earn a victory come Friday.

The Eagles would fly against their Ghanian opponents at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi, and a victory will put them at an advantage to grab the Qatar2022 WC ticket ahead of the second leg.

Head to head the two teams have met 8 times during world cup qualifying games, with 2 wins each and 4 draws.

The match promises to be exciting and explosive going by the rivalry between both the Super Eagles and the Black Stars.
