Ajeigbe said, “It has been a very challenging one but it is all to the glory of God. In the history of Nigeria Volleyball Premier League our club from Offa which is a local government in Kwara has lifted the trophy.

“This is historical as this has never happened before Offa Volleyball Club came into being to help the youths in my community. I started the club to ensure that every member of my team is Kwara born but majority of the players are Offa born.

“It is to the glory of God almighty that I was able to start the club in 2010; now some of my players are playing outside the country”, he said.

Ajeigbe added that he was sure the people of Offa community would be happy when they returned home as champions of the league.

Also speaking the coach of Nigeria Customs Service Female team, Sunny Akapson said their success was as a result of hard work, determination and dedication.

The former National setter said after losing to NSCDC last year, the team went and studied the patterns of the former champions.

He said, “Today is one of the greatest days of my life because the Nigeria Customs Service really worked hard in order to win the women’s trophy. The girls showed determination and zeal on the court, approaching every set with a high level of seriousness.

“We attended the 2021 Super Cup held early this year, went to the 2022 African Club Championship and have been in camp for a long period of time. The team studied the pattern of the former champions and the result is the 2022 Nigeria Volleyball Premier League trophy”
