The Sapphire Nigeria Women Football Supporters Club (SNWFSC) has commended the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) for the successful completion of the 2025 Super Six title deciding playoffs.
The playoffs, held at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne, saw Bayelsa Queens reclaim the title with a 4-1 win over Naija Ratels.
SNWFSC President, Jadesola Okhaiyan Adelabu, praised the NWFL for organizing a competitive and thrilling tournament that kept all teams on their toes until the final minute. She applauded the six teams that participated in the playoffs for showcasing top-notch skills, determination, and a disciplined mindset.
Adelabu congratulated Bayelsa Queens on their championship win, expressing optimism that they will excel at the continental stage.
The SNWFSC’s recognition of the NWFL’s efforts highlights the growing support for women’s football in Nigeria.
