Two key officials of Nasarawa United Football Club have been appointed to key roles in President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s support organization, TSO, as part of efforts to leverage sports for national development and unity.
Chairman of Nasarawa United, Mr. Solomon Babanjah, has been appointed North Central Zonal Co-coordinator, while the club’s Director of Media and Communications, Mr. Eche Amos, will serve as a member of the national Media Committee.
Their task is to use sports to mobilize support for President Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid, promote national unity, and development, aligning with the Renewed Hope Agenda.

As co-coordinator, Babanjah will oversee the North-Central Zonal implementation, liaise with State Chapters, and coordinate competitions and development programs.
The TSO Football Project aims to discover talent, promote social cohesion, and deepen community engagement, with activities including hosting football tournaments, coaching clinics, and administrative workshops.
Kwara United FC’s General Manager, Bashir Badawiy, is the National Director of Football of the Tinubu Support Organisation.
