Nasarawa United’s next challenge is a tough trip to Enugu to face former league champions, Rangers International FC, on match-day 28 on Sunday, 1st March, 2026.
Post-Match Reactions
Coach Mangut Mbwas expressed his delight at the win, praising youngster Suleiman Dauda’s debut performance. “It’s a thing of joy to get the maximum points today. Prior to today, we had lost two games this second stanza of the league, but I’m glad we’re recovering gradually.”
Mbwas also commended Dauda, who created a penalty in extra-time, saying, “He is a product from the just-concluded Nasarawa State Governor’s Cup. I have been watching him, and I know he has what it takes to succeed in the game.”
