The Management and Staff of the Mission To Save The Helpless (MITOSATH) are mourning the loss of their long-serving Secretary to the Board, Late Comptroller Nahum Haruna Angyu (Rtd.), who dedicated 25 years of his life to the growth, integrity, and governance of the institution.
Late Comptroller Angyu, a retired senior officer of the Nigeria Customs Service, brought a wealth of public sector experience, dignity, discipline, and strategic insight to the boardroom.
His quiet strength and principled voice played a significant role in shaping the foundation of MITOSATH’s leadership and direction.
Beyond his professional achievements, Late Comptroller Angyu was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and a father figure to many within the organization. His life was marked by honour, wisdom, and selfless service. He nurtured others with patience, led with humility, and inspired with his unwavering values.
The institution extends its heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched.
“His presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy remains etched in the heart of this institution and all who had the privilege of knowing him,” the institution stated. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
