Nasarawa State Governor, Engr Abdullahi Sule, has expressed his gratitude to Organizers of a comedy programme hosted in his honour to mark his first anniversary in office in the second term and fifth year of his administration as Executive Governor of the Solid Minerals’ State on Wednesday, 29th May, 2024.
Tagged “NITE OF LAUGHTER AND LEADERSHIP WITH GOVERNOR ABDULLAHI A. SULE(A Comedy Tribute to Your Excellency)”, the programme was the brainchild of Cheetah Generation, an Organisation that encompasses a new breed of young people who are proactive, innovative, and driven to succeed and embodies the spirit of resilience, adaptability, and speed, inspiring young people to embrace their potential and shape their future headed by Mr. Eche Amos in collaboration with Mam’s Events, a professional event-planning Organization, with Mrs Martha Jambo Maiwada as its CEO.
During his remarks at the Poolside of Nasarawa Luxury Hotel and Suites’ venue, the Nasarawa State number one citizen said;

“A lot has been said about me and this administration, but I want to first show great appreciation to the Organizers of this event for this wonderful initiative because, today, the way I wanted to celebrate my 5th anniversary as Governor of Nasarawa State was completely different from what we are celebrating this evening.
“My wife just wanted to take the opportunity to visit the Correctional Centres and see those in trouble and see how she could help them.
“On my own part, I wanted to celebrate the rest of the day with either the disabled or the almajiris and the rest of them.
“But we ended up having a very long and tiring State Executive Council Meeting that lasted for over six hours, and this is because it’s been a long time we had such session, and we had more guests coming to visit after that, making my wife only to achieve her aim, but I was unable, but she did for both of us.
“We may have had a turbulent one year in this second tenure, but to the glory of God, all the challenges are over, and our direction is clear, and by the grace of God, what we will do in the remaining three years as an administration will be better than what we have achieved in the past five years.
“For me, I want to be remembered for leaving lasting legacy for the people of Nasarawa State, even when I am no more in this world. Let it be said that this is the gentleman who started it and may God bless him for what he has bequeathed to us, and that’s what life is all about.
“So, once again, I wish to express my profound appreciation and gratitude to the Organizers of this wonderful and memorable event in my honour.
“It is truly an unforgettable evening and I am deeply touched by the effort, creativity, and talent that go into making it a success.

“Your ability to connect with my achievements through comedy, laughter and entertainment is a remarkable gift, and I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to experience it firsthand.
“The show is a wonderful celebration of our collective spirit and resilience as a State and a people, and I am proud to be a part of it.
“Kindly note that your hard work and dedication have not gone unnoticed.
“I am grateful for the support and commitment of my Cabinet Members, the State House of Assembly, Judiciary, Traditional Rulers, Religious and Youth Leaders, Security Agencies, and many more to the progress of our State, and I think we need to repeat this outstanding event where our Royal Fathers and highly placed personalities can have the opportunity to dance.”
