“Expect A Better Confluence Queens Next Season” – Tosin Ojo

The team manager of Confluence Queens Mrs Tosin Olorunleke Ojo, has sent her end of the season message to the state Government, Management, Technical Crew, Players and Supporters of the club.

In a statement made available to the media by the club’s media, Mrs Ojo says: “Our profound gratitude goes to God almighty for his protections and guidance towards our team Confluence Queens. We started the season and ended it successful, there are no casualties amongst us”.

Secondly, “we want to thank the Kogi State government led by his excellency Alhaji Yahaya Bello, the indefatigable, agile and workaholic governor for his constant support and motivation towards the team and for believing in us”.

Thirdly, “To our team fans and supporters home and abroad who stood firmly in their supports during the good and bad times all season through. Without you the team couldn’t have gone far this season, the spirit of togetherness has lifted us high. We love you, and hope to you see all again next season, thank you all”.

Finally, “I want to really appreciate the efforts of the technical crew, led by Whyte Ogonda, and all the players too for their unrelenting efforts. Also, I will like to also thank the management led by Hon. Abdulmalik Isah Dolly, this season, the battle was never lost, we are proud of ourselves. I commends us all, the future is bright”.

“We believe in this team and in everything we have. We are confident the team will be far better next season. We want to give you all our assurance to expect a better Confluence Queens next season. We will keep working and focus on what’s coming, which will be very nice”, she stated.

This season, Confluence Queens finished Fourth in the 2022/2O23 NWPL season, even though it seemed impossible at some point.
