…Pledges Inclusive Government
The Executive Chairman of Oshodi-Isolo Local Government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof-Oloyede, has received members of the Lagos for Lagos group, led by Mrs. Iyabo Emordi, who are former supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate, Hon. Jide Adediran (Jandor).
The Chairman promised to integrate them into the All Progressives Congress (APC) fold, assuring them of an inclusive government.
The Vice Chairman, Hon. Modupe Badmus-Aregebe, received the delegation on behalf of the Chairman, commending them for joining the APC. She assured them that the party is committed to the welfare of all residents and encouraged them to participate in the ongoing campaign for the Saturday local government election.
The leader of the delegation, Mrs. Emordi, thanked the Chairman for the warm reception and promised to work with the party. The party Chairman in the local government, Hon. Saheed Kolawole Animashaun, welcomed the new members, describing the APC as one big happy family.
The Chairman’s gesture is seen as a demonstration of the party’s commitment to inclusiveness and unity.
The APC has been working to strengthen its presence in the local government area, and the reception of the former PDO members is expected to boost the party’s chances in the upcoming election.
